The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is scheduled to be released in RealD 3D, IMAX 3D, and Conventional Theaters on May 2, 2014. Alongside them are Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Dane DeHaan, Sally Field, Martin Sheen, Chris Cooper, Denis Leary, and many more. The film stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, who are returning to their roles as Spider-Man and his ladylove Gwen Stacy. The picture shows our favorite web-slinger in quite a precarious position with a slightly psychotic looking Green Goblin standing over him. Osborn will be portrayed in the film by Metallica Through The Never’s Dane DeHaan. Of course, the Green Goblin is none other than Harry Osborn, the childhood friend of Peter Parker. We have seen him high up in the air, and barely recognizable in the triptych poster, and from behind in the trailer, but never really dead on. We already know that Spidey is going to have to deal with at least three, and now possibly four, villains in the next installment of The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, and while we have gotten a fairly decent look at most of the villains, The Green Goblin has not been one of them. Earlier today, the good people at Columbia Pictures, via Total Film, have given us our first real look at the Green Goblin from The Amazing Spider-Man 2. However, for those of you who know, well then…you know. For those of you who do not know, I warn you that spoilers lie ahead, and you should probably turn back now. While this may be one of the very worst kept secrets in Hollywood, there is quite possibly a few of you who do not yet know the identity of the Green Goblin in the upcoming film The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The ones that you manage to shoot off, will be lying on the ground unexploded, temporarily inactive.
